12 of our responders are currently undertaking the PHECC FAR course on a weekly basis for the next 6 weeks so they have a better understanding of they medical conditations or issues they may face on calls. Our training team aim to run this course on a yearly basis.

This Thursday 20th Dec. we need your help to raise funds for the Ennis Road CFR, Limerick at Dunnes, Jetland. Like the ambulance service #NASMidwest we will work over the Christmas and New Year periods to ensure the best outcomes for heart attacks, cardiac arrests, choking and strokes.

We have received reports of individuals wearing “Community First Responder” badges fundraising door to door in the North Co. Dublin area recently. These are not collecting on behalf of CFR groups in the area. Please ask to see a fundraising permit or ID before donating.

We were delighted to host the 3rd Meath Prehospital Networking and Training Night in Skryne yesterday. 80 pre hospital care providers from around the county attended including CFR groups, Civil Defence and members of NAS who all contributed to a really informative night.
