A true natural, industry icon, launching Sundance alone is a legacy in and of itself but his filmography is legendary. Will forever remember Robert Redford

As much as I love Earth, Wind & Fire, my favorite song about this month is Green Day’s Wake Me Up When September Ends!!

Diane Keaton has died at the age of 79. A family spokesperson confirmed the news to ‘People.’ The legendary actress rose to fame in the 1970s after starring in ‘The Godfather’ films and collaborating with director Woody Allen, most notably on the Oscar-winning film ‘Annie Hall.’

Seeing the double feature of these films at Beyond Fest is something I’ll always treasure, especially hearing how much Stand By Me meant to Rob Reiner during the Q&A. You can see his humanity and humor infused in his work. Forever grateful for his legacy

Comedy is my favorite genre. Catherine O’Hara, a giant in the genre, always made me laugh and will continue to do so when I’ll revisit her iconic performances. She brought joy to so many, for that I’ll be forever grateful

The In Memoriam segment is going to hit so hard this year :( After going through so many tribute films for those we lost last year, Robert Duvall was in a lot of their films. He amassed one of the best filmographies of all time. Hats off to another legend

It was bittersweet seeing this at the American Cinematheque as part of Beyond Fest with Rob Reiner there. I encourage who’s never seen Stand By Me in theater or ever to mark their calendars!

At a bare minimum, deserved score and editing noms. Hats off to Critics Choice for not only nominating Challengers in these categories but gave it the wins in both!

Excited to see this pop up just now! I usually like to digest this discussion every year over the span of Oscar Week. With so many different points of view I know it will entertaining as always! Happy Oscar Week to all!

One thing giving me pause about predicting Sentimental Value over Secret Agent based on the nominations count: Pan’s Labyrinth had a lot of nominations but still lost to The Lives of Others which was a sole nominee

I don’t think I’ve seen a year with so many lock step Oscar predictions. Kind of makes sense given the number of sweepers this year (at least in the crafts) Seems like that means we’ll see some Alice in Wonderland, Fantastic Beasts, Lincoln/All Quiet in Prod Design type wins
