The first Christmas ever we’ve both not been working and on land 💕 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE 🎄🎅🏼🥂

A few years ago (many many years ago) this is what PAD’s looked like. I’ve just found mine when tidying out a storage locker and it’s reminded me how far I’ve come 😂

Goes on annual leave for 3 weeks. Comes back to 160 emails in one inbox and 20 in the other. A very productive day but I’ve still got 30 something odd to go. Apologies for the long wait for some replies everyone 😂

What an utter privilege the past 2 days have been at BACCN 💙 #BACCNConf2023. My idea list is 3 pages long and I’m full of passion. What a final keynote from Nicki Credland 💙 and Ian. Ending with something Ian said “Nurses are like a fine wine”. I couldn’t agree more 👏🏻

A bit blurry but full of light. An accurate picture of how my brain feels after the past 10 days of learning and growing 💡

Sometimes I don’t realise the little things I help colleagues with are big things to them. I came back to the office after seeing patients this evening and this was tucked in my “to do list” notebook. 😭

My ALS course has been cancelled because of the doctors strikes (which I fully support) this week - That just means two things: 1. I will open the book more than 3 days before the next date. 😂 2. You’ll be seeing me clinically in Derriford tomorrow 👍🏻

My better half sent me a picture of his workplace today - It doesn’t look too shabby in Fläm today 😂

I honestly don’t require payment in sweet treats for doing my job - but it’s nice to get them occasionally 😂

A very productive day - Christmas rota written, ABG teaching with respiratory staff and I was gone for 20:00. A day that started with an awful headache turned very good. 👍🏻

A lovely walk round Cotehele NT and Calstock earlier - with Woody and his mum. Excellent cheese scones 10/10 reccomend 👏🏻😂

Attempting to add Mentimeter & GIF's galore to the TREAT teaching today - Definitely a few deep breaths taken. Apologies in advance to anyone on the date in Two weeks! 😂

It was my birthday this past weekend and as my mother very kindly pointed out I’m halfway to seventy 😂

One more Nightshift and my other half is home 🚢🥳
