Movie Night was a big success Aberfoyle PS! Over 100 movie enthusiasts tucked themselves into the gym for a cosy evening. Pillows, blankets and snacks filled the room, along with the happy sounds of children. Big thanks to our School council for a wonderful, family event!
I noticed this beautiful butterfly today Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB . Even though Truth and Reconciliation Week was a bit ago, the orange shines bright and our messages remain true.
Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB was treated to a wonderful concert by the CCVI Announcements band and choir today. Not only was the music outstanding but these role models provided an example of what is possible with practice and support. Thanks Spartans!
One of the many joys of being a Vice Principal is being a guest at the Kindergarten Friendship party! Lots of fun planned by expert educators helped the Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB Kindie students get to know each other even better. I loved the treat surveys, songs, cards and jokes!

Holiday circuits. The grade 6 students Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB created this interactive bulletin board to show off their electrical knowledge. It’s very popular with everyone who passes by. It’s so fun to touch the batteries together to brighten things up!
Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB hosted a Holiday Bake Sale this morning! Many thanks to parents who donated tasty treats, to members of the School Council for organizing, and to our Mentor Club members who volunteered their time to help. It was awesome!

Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB At the end of our day all the educators lined up to wave goodbye to the students as they left on their buses for the Winter Holidays. It was beautiful to see students waving and calling to their teachers. What a lovely tradition!

Lunch Study Group for gr 7/8 was very popular today Aberfoyle PS . Are these young leaders extra studious because they are academically challenged or did the chilly weather help to influence their positive work ethic? Either way, everyone is welcome!
It was lovely to host Firefighters Jessica and Brad from the Puslinch Fire Department Aberfoyle PS Upper Grand DSB yesterday! The duo were Mystery Readers and so much more! We really appreciate the time they took to read and teach us about fire safety. This community rocks!
This special little critter decided to join us Aberfoyle PS school today! Found loitering in the bathroom. Maybe that’s where all the cool kids ‘hang’ out? Seems batty to me.
Big thanks to Cambridge Animal Services for picking up Aberfoyle PS batty pal. I’m sure they will find a comfy spot for them in a tree or sheltered spot and they will be back to munching mosquitoes in the spring!
We have a winner! Congratulations Aberfoyle PS grade 4! During the 2023 Waterloo Wellington Children's Groundwater Festival students became Groundwater Detectives. They completed all the clues and submitted their findings to participate in our draw. Upper Grand DSB County of Wellington #wwcgf
