The Stonewall Uprising helped galvanize a movement for LGBTQ+ rights. The progress we’ve made in the years since is a testament to what happens when people organize and demand change. But we need to do more to safeguard LGBTQ+ rights and expand on those hard-earned victories.

There’s so much more work to be done to fight for true equality, especially for our trans family. What I really wish for all of us is that we rip up the rule book of what society is “meant” to be and start again.
