They’re all ‘art! Students had an interesting and informative day at the National Portrait Gallery where they got up close to some historical and very expensive pieces of work!

Our first parents evening of the year was another success. Ambassadors represented the college as the leaders they are!

We are pleased to announce that with the support of The National Lottery Community Fund, we will be continuing with our 'Cycling Down Memory Lane' project in 2020! The project breaks down #intergenerational barriers by bringing together individuals with #Dementia and pupils from Abbey Manor College!🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Young Writers Festival Cambridge: Students spent the day enjoying a number of workshops and a talk from published author Juno Dawson. Look out for the class of 2019-20’s anthology in conjunction with First Story later this year!

And it’s the KS4 Christmas Lunch which was a huge success. There were prizes, music and of course a modern day staff version of a famous Christmas Carol!

The Nurture Group took to the stage in partnership Lewisham Youth Theatre group. Some monthly sessions have been agreed with the aim of building up confidence, learning new skills and getting out of your comfort zone. The first session was a huge success. Next step..Broadway!

As the COVID 19 restrictions continue, AMC staff gathered in canteen to collate Science, Maths & English work for students. We remain open, however for those students who can’t make it in, the education journey continues via work sent out and the on-line learning platform.

Our KS4 Jack Petchey winners! Congratulations for your hard work and resilience during another national lockdown. We remained open and students continued to attend and work hard!

What’s for Lunch! Students made a delicious array or culinary delights for the AP Heads meeting today. From filo savoury parcels to home made kebabs and devil eggs, our students done a fantastic job. Our visitors enjoyed every bite!
