Excited to share our latest study Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery & OTO Open and AmAcadOtolaryngology with the largest experience using lateral arm autologous tissue transfers for head and neck reconstruction. The LA flap was safe, versatile, and reliable for head and neck reconstruction with low donor-site morbidity.

Proud to see a press release by American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) & Wolters Kluwer for our study in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery! Our results demonstrate the ability of Artificial Intelligence to predict adverse events for women with breast cancer seeking breast reconstruction and potentially lower the risk.

Our recent study AnnalsSurgOncology shows that Frailty significantly affects breast reconstruction outcomes:

🔍 MFI ≥ 2 correlates with higher risks but similar patient-reported outcomes

🔍 Notable risk factors: COPD, reconstruction type & timing, tobacco use, and functional status

Our latest study The Lancet Public Health shows that despite a 53.5% global drop in unintentional CO poisoning deaths since 2000, improvements are inconsistent & disparities persist. It's clear: we need policy interventions - improved heating/cooking, reduced emissions, & mandatory CO alarms
