It was an honour to meet H.E.Dr Mahathir Mohammad Dr Mahathir Mohamad 4th&7th Prime Minister of #Malaysia to learn from his extensive experience in #politics I thoroughly enjoyed his talk about #GoodGovernance & value based #leadership thanks Muslim Council Wales & Perdana Foundation for organising
I had the honour to participate and represent my beloved country #Yemen at the Ethnic Minority Welsh Women Achievement Associa... #Festivalofcommunities What a wonderful night it was. I'm truly grateful for Meena Upadhyaya OBE PhD FRCPath FLSW & everyone involved for allowing us to celebrate the #Diversity in our communities in #Wales 🇾🇪🏴
Very much appreciate the @bbcnews and Yalda Hakim highlighting the plight of #Yemen where it has often been called the forgotten conflict. Though there has been a significant deescalation, we're stuck in a state of political/military deadlock and a limbo of no war yet no peace
✉️We have written to the Welsh Government Education following concerns raised by EYST- Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales about levels and impact of racist bullying in schools across Wales. 👉Read the letter from EYST- Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales: business.senedd.wales/documents/s137… 👉Read our letter to Welsh Government Education: business.senedd.wales/documents/s138…
In our recent letter to the Children, Young People and Education Committee by EYST- Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales we highlighted our concerns of the impact of racial bullying in schools across #Wales We welcome the response from the Welsh Government Education and we look forward to working with you and our partners to tackle these serious issues.
Working on this research report alongside Amira Assami(أميره محمد السامعي) EYST- Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales in the past year, to uncover the impact of school exclusions upon ethnic minority young people and their families has been truly eye opening 😓
Thank you for all your support Dr Rhian Croke
It was great to attend the #First1000Days event sponsored by Jane Dodds AS/MS 🔶🏴 Senedd Cymru and be part of the ACEs panel, alongside Dr Joanne Elliott Great discussion on what could be changed in policy and practice to help children with ACEs. #ChildreninWales
Wet evening but warm one with the community coming together for an Iftar at Cardiff Castle organised by Amanah Cymru. Loved Ramadan Moon - a play by local children. Huw as council leader spoke in Welsh & English of the castle- a building built for war but now welcoming all in
An absolutely fantastic evening, despite the weather. Delighted that Cardiff Council was able to sponsor this interfaith community iftar, and huge congratulations to Amanah Cymru and the other organisers for pulling everything together so beautifully.
