Thursday of #CSW68 was the day of the Interactive Dialogue with Youth I got to speak about gender based violence, Irelands introduction of new stalking legislation and holding social media companies accountable for online abuse. I also attended our wonderful EU delegates sidevent

Unfortunately couldn’t be in UCC yesterday to collect this award since I’m here in New York. Sincere thanks to Thia Hennessy and Dean of Law Mark Poustie for honouring me. And really to UCC and UCC School of Law for all their continued support over the last few years.

First day of #CSW68 included some great discussions around women’s economic empowerment and financing to achieve gender equality. Met with WorkingGrouponGirls and also SIHA Network. I also got to sit in on the 9574th Security Council meeting on Promoting Conflict Prevention.

So great to meet you Beth and the amazing girls from the WGG!
