Pam Duncan-Glancy MSP As the parents of an ASN child it’s a never ending fight that sees us just getting passed from local authorities to SG and back again with no one willing to take responsibility!

We’ve been hearing from parents and carers at Lockhart Primary School, an ASN (Additional Support Needs) school in North Ayrshire. They have been informed that the local authority will no longer cover the cost of transport for pupils living within a two-mile radius of the school.

ASN Reform Scotland Absolutely shocking! It shouldn't be about distance to the school but about the needs of the child and the family- whether it be a physical or mental disability.
