All Grade 1 students took part in an exciting workshop today. Engineering students from the University of Ottawa taught us about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. We then coded Bee-Bots to navigate life cycle and ecosystem maps! St Bernadette OCSB Ottawa Catholic School Board

Yesterday, we had a special visitor, Mrs. Costantini! She taught us all about the Epiphany and how the Three Wise Men were of different skin tones, reminding us that Jesus is for everyone, no matter their skin colour or where they are from. St Bernadette OCSB @ocsbRE

I love watching all these posts and seeing all the creative ways these students are using milk crates to create, build and play! From smoothing the snow, making rocket ships, towers, houses... These open ended items are such great fodder for imagination! Milk crates for the win!
