Every child should live in a home with proper care and supervision. Yet new regulations legitimise those in care aged over 15 being placed in unsafe and unsupervised accommodation such as caravan parks. The Govt are putting these children at risk of serious harm. Article 39

Today is #InternationalMissingChildrensDay. Hundreds of unaccompanied children seeking asylum in the UK were reported missing from Home Office-run hotels this year. We’re bringing legal action with Article 39 to make sure the Government keeps them safe: glplive.org/ff9
This Carers Week we recognise the huge contribution unpaid carers make to society. Politicians, employers, health & social services, businesses, education providers and public all have a role raising awareness of caring & ensuring carers can access the info and support they need.
Our ARU STEP UP Twitter account has been a bit quiet because we are busy with preparations for the assessment centres for Cohort 8. We are really excited to meet everyone.

Day 2 of ARU STEP UP assessments. Another really positive day meeting potential social work students. Made even better by the presence of students from Cohort 7. They were brilliant and answered lots of questions and talked about their experiences.
