Australia's pledge is a start. I've now urged Not ScoMo to show us a concrete plan to halve emissions by 2030. I've given him a copy of Fiji's Climate Change Act as a guide –– it is our uniquely Fijian way of following the science to keep faith with future generations.

We're halfway through the 2021 #GreatReefCensus! With the support of divers, tourism crew, researchers, skippers, freedivers & citizen scientists from across the reef, we've captured 13,641 images, submitted 582 surveys from 101 reefs — visit greatreefcensus.org to take part!

Back home and online after a crazy week in the far north of the GBR carrying out some #GreatReefCensus snorkel surveys and #seagrass camera tows. We had amazing conditions, glass outs and crazy drop offs galore. Thanks Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef for a great week.
