Education profs knew what was at stake when we supported @AMPL/AMPD on the picket line the first time they went on strike back in February. We are stronger together.

Through our confederation with the other two faculty unions at @McGillU, we get the best of both worlds: harmonization where useful and local negotiations to preserve each faculty's priorities.

"Steering" is the practice commonly used by academic administrators that aims to give "soft" directives in a way that the administration can plausibly deny *are* directives. It is fundamentally dishonest and undermines #collegialgovernance. 1/8
