Not to take away from those with honours in any way, but I’m just going to shout out all those who show services to education day in day out & never get recognised for it All my staff for one, lots of heads I know for two, & esp all those 1:1 TAs working with the most vulnerable

An important role to fill. I can think of some great people who have lead schools successfully for many years who could do this too just as successfully. Hope they get the right person...

Hurry up and finish off building the new special schools where they are needed. Plenty of money has been provided & triaged ahead of every other capital project for a few years now. Expedition needs to be more efficient.

What we are witnessing is the entirely predictable result of a decade of chronic underfunding. We continue to encourage members to engage constructively to explore what may be possible, but system failure cannot be resolved through coercion or blame.

Before we consider training and setting up a proper learning environment. How do we go about interviewing staff in our schools,to teach in the units and back fill their posts on June 26 with schools mostly closing tomorrow? Good timing!

Thanks Ema for supporting those caring teaching professionals who know when they are not able to best meet the needs of a few children. Shame on EA even threatening to force their hand & undermine their professional judgement when schools have all the evidence in front of them.
