Section 37/41 of the mental health act is the equivalent to an IPP. Locked up and never knowing when you're getting out.
Enforced treatment, told to have hope in a hopeless situation.

Treating trauma in the prison system is paramount in reducing reoffending rates. It is possible for offenders to have been victims in their earlier lives

Gary Glitter was fit for release THIS YEAR after only spending 8 years in prison.

After 50 years in prison, most of it in solitary confinement despite not committing murder, rape or pedophilia - this is a DISGRACE and has everything to do with class.

In forensic mental health risk is the deciding factor on whether someone should be released. In prison someone is released when their sentence ends and acute mental health care it is someone's mental stability.

When life keeps knocking me down it gets harder and harder to get back up again but I'm still gonna get back up and keep moving forward no matter what is thrown at me.
Nothing will stop me getting to where I want to be

Prison or hospital.
I've seen guys that have muscles on muscles when they arrived from prison. 6 months later they're obese, diabetic, slow to speak, finding solace on eating themselves into an early grave. Which is the easier sentence?

I woke up, I was held down face first by 6 nursing staff and injected in the butt cheek.
I went back to sleep for 3 days.

Trauma informed care for the people services is a more compassionate approach towards others distress. Not 'what is wrong with you '? But more 'what has happened to you'?
Let's keep these conversations going.

You can be the biggest, hardest man and be powerful but when that cell door fly's open and you have 10 guys, faces covered attacking you, there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

They were going to take her hostage I had to intervene. She was an officer but also a woman. I couldn't let it happen. She's now safe but I'm being attacked. They put me in segregation as now my life is at risk but I knew I did the right thing.

Eupd or CPTSD? What's the difference?? One diagnosed by a psychiatrist the other a psychologist. Which one negates the most sympathy???. Our fault or not our fault???
