I had the immense pleasure of visiting Kenya last week, part of my ERC-funded AIMIX.🌟Discussions with local midwives, healthcare managers and pregnant women expanded my understanding of AI for accessible healthcare.📈Already missing Kenya's beauty and remarkable people.

The Buni community unit in Rabai Sub-County, Kenya, was our next stop for community engagement activities. Our community-based enumerators introduced and sensitized pregnant mothers on the AIMIX ScanZetu (our scans) study and screened eligible participants to join the study. #AI

An informative community engagement meeting it was with the Kaembeni community unit in Rabai Subcounty. Our Kenya team conversed with pregnant mothers below 14 weeks highlighting our ScanZetu study and the importance of early antenatal care #ANC visits for healthier pregnancies.
