Dr Amy Coker It has acquired some extra meanings in Modern Greek like ξεχέζω or χέζω (πατόκορφα) = give sb a piece of one's mind; χέστηκα = I don't give a shit; χέσε μας = cut the bullshit, etc. BTW, congrats on the "Obscenity: a problem for the lexicographer" chapter.
