New way to practice phoneme segmentation and mapping! Students “squish” the sounds they hear by squishing the playdoh! Then they map the word by writing the letters that correspond to the sound. This made it more engaging and motivating for my students. 🤩 Hermitage Elementary

Take a popular fad… and make it a game! We raced each other to see who could pop all of theirs the fastest while reading fluency phrases. Easy way to differentiate for groups as well—just change the words! Hermitage Elementary
