Exciting news! The Mandela Washington Fellows have arrived at MSU, and AAP is thrilled to welcome to 25 young leaders from across Africa, supported by the US Department of State, they will engage with experts to gain valuable insights into vibrant civic participation.

Dr. Carolyn Logan from MSU recently concluded a visit to USIU-Africa as part of the AAP-African Futures program, she delivered lectures on data in academic writing, presented on public opinion data and engaged in a round table discussion on future research collaboration.

"Exciting news! Lydie Tonguino, a 2022 Mandela Washington Fellow, is teaming up with MSU & Bamako University to combat GBV in Guinea, Mali, and Lansing. Through AAP's grants, they'll empower 60 young girls via mentorship & training. Together, they're making a positive impact!
