Yesterday, members of the #BurtonFD, including our newest recruits, honored those lost on 9-11 by participating in 4.5 mile silent walk across Ravenel Bridge bridge City of Charleston. We have not forgotten.....
In partnership with Patriots Point we were host to hundreds of 1st Responders & our community as we reflected & remembered the events 22 Years on the Anniversary of 9/11/2001. George Santayana offers “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Never Forget.
Flash Back Friday: I am always grateful to have a boss who talks the talk and also Walks. For the last 10 years, Chief Bulanow has supported and contributed to ensuring the success of The 9/11 Silent Walk. He has spoken several times and rarely misses the walk on 9/11. Thank You
