🎉Happy 80th Birthday RAF Air Cadets! 🎉 Today marks 80 years since the formation of the Air Training Corps, on the 5th February 1941.

#OnThisDay in 1940 : Albert 'Zulu' Lewis of 85 Squadron became an ace-in-a-day as he downed five #Messerschmitt Bf 109s; 2 in the morning and a further 3 in the evening. He was awarded the #DFC for this action. Zulu finished the war with 18 kills and another bar to his DFC.
