It's appalling that anyone should face violence simply for doing their job, especially when their role is to safeguard others. Sadly, some professions struggle to receive the public empathy they deserve for such injuries.

Great work by Jon Burrows by sticking by his former colleagues. Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't goin' away!!

The reckless violence displayed by these individuals shows a complete disregard for the safety of others. Injuring officers is not only unacceptable, but also weakens the very systems designed to protect communities. #blindedbyhate facebook.com/share/p/1HntFy…

Delays in answering your calls, delayed response times, the inability to protect our communities. The public will only receive the service that the government fund. NI Policing Board Mukesh Sharma MBE DL

A harsh reality of having an underfunded and inadequately resourced policing service. To effectively police public disorder means some officers not doing other policing functions #CutsHaveConsequences

Another very disappointing day for policing. Only £5m allocated to PSNI which has already been spent. “First call” on £7m sometime in the future for recruitment. PSNI remains £21m in deficit and its recovery plan has still not been agreed or funded.

Spectacular scenes from NI at The Open. Easy to feel proud when the best of us is on full display—and the rest of the noise stays with those who care to keep it. #ni #opengolf

Absolutely shocking, Dessie is a gentleman who would share his last bite! Thoughts are with the entire Quigley family.

It's time for some #Pawsome news; meet Edinburgh Dog Units newest recruit. This is TPD Brock who's starting his training as a Detection Dog. He's a confident, funny and lively lad and his new handler is definitely being kept on their toes 🤣. #CuteAlert #WorkingLabrador
