@80svillain : I think a lot of it boils down to Hunters Mark. It was clear that the community wasn’t happy with 25014 design of HM, specifically concentration, so Wotc toggled back n forth in playtest. But instead of coming up w a creative solution to the spell design itself, they baked it in. • TwiCopy
