Today marks the 82nd anniversary of the tragic attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec 7, 1941. We will never forget the 2,403 service members & civilians who perished that day or America's Greatest Generation who rose in response. Today, and every day, we remember.

April 9 marks National Former POW Recognition Day. Established in 1988, this day commemorates the surrender of 10,000 U.S. service members and 65,000 Filipino soldiers on the Bataan Peninsula on April 9, 1942. Today, we honor former POWs laid to rest in our hallowed grounds.
