One of the key findings was that those who were shielding others were experiencing 'vicarious' health anxiety, excessive worry about the vulnerable person they were #shielding . We recommended adapted evidence-based interventions. See below for more 👇

Our initial study, led by Hannah Rettie was the first study to identify that those who were clinically vulnerable had higher rates of anxiety compared to the general public, with >30% reaching clinical levels This established a hard-to reach group in need

In December, we presented our data in #Parliament revealing that another year later, the vulnerable were still struggling with their mental health, but were politically engaged. Now we wait to see how far our recommendations will go
