These are the ACTUAL SURVIVORS who escaped death and watched the MURDER of their loved ones. America paid reparations to the JAPANESE for internment during WWII. It paid reparations to Jews for the Holocaust, which didn’t even happen in America. America is so antiBlack it

Don't give in to the notion that "it's too expensive to stay out there" when you dream of living in a place of high value and significance. Remember, you can find a way to live amidst the opulence and luxury, and I truly believe in your ability to make it happen.

It’s all gonna come down to the margins in Waukesha County. We’re keeping a close eye on what’s happening at the Majestic. Could be a long night.

A cruel story of the failed urban development: Dr. Martin Luther King Drive (formerly 3rd St.) in Milwaukee sure has changed over the years. Pictured below: the Garfield Theatre. Situated between Locust and Chambers.

In our conversation on theGrio.com, Kim Klacik argued that slavery may or may not have been bad for Black people. As evidence, she erroneously argues that Nigeria, Cameroon, & Congo were never colonized, yet are still doing poorly. This is why education, and Black Studies, matters.

We are still hoping for a day when we are seen as brothers and not foreigners. Loved and not disdained. Included and not forgotten. At peace and not at struggle. We are a hopeful people. And we tryin’ real, real hard.

Dr. King, in 1966, juxtaposed with an empty chair, a symbol of the spaces yet to be filled with equality, justice, and understanding. I often wonder what he would make of these times. 🪑

It's crazy to think that the only reason LeBron doesn't have 50,000 points is because he is top 5 in assists in NBA history.

Spent some time today imagining a world where my Black skin will not get me killed in my own kitchen for so much as being armed with my own pot, or sinkwater, or oven mitts. It was beautiful. And let me tell you, not only will we arrive someday, we are gracefully on our way.
