Finished two educational models for the neurosurgical department. The level of accuracy needed to perform this type of surgery is amazing. Printed in a Form3B using Clear resin that has been polished. Red colored resin was then poured inside the model and cured.

An osteotomy is when a bone is cut to change it’s size or alignment. 3D printing gives the advantage for the surgeon to perform a test cut before proceeding to surgery. A good plan is crucial for success! These models were printed on our Raise3D Technologies E2 printer. #sus #lth #3dprint

This week we experimented on soft tissue tumors using Formlabs 3D printers. The tumor is in a clear material that has hollowed out paths where the vessels are for reference. It is situated in the thigh and had a weight of about 4kg! #3dprint #skane #skrubben
