Tonight’s meeting saw the girls working in almost silence preparing afternoon tea for their Mum’s arrival at 8pm. They then serve them and talk to them, finishing off the evening with 6 girls making their promises.

Over the past few weeks the girls have pledged to reduce their plastic usage. So tonight after learning that cling film NEVER biodegrades we have put our words into action by making #beeswax food wraps.

The start of a new term with only a handful of girls saw us write an empowering list of recruitment ideas @GrowingGuiding and a bit of origami for the girls to use as a tool for school conversation tomorrow about Guides.

Wow! What an achievement let’s hope it’s the first of many.
