What a way to fill my bucket before the start of a new amazing school year… spent time with my favorite bionic (and currently picture adverse) Mama- the recipient of a third knee replacement AND squeezed in the oldest and newest friends!

First three days with kids in my new role down! Had the opportunity to join all our lower and middle school students to kick off this school year on Wednesday. Looking forward to week 2 and our first full week! Let’s go!

Led my first all division assembly focused on belonging today. It was great to share a little about myself and see all our kids brainstorm the places they feel they most belong!

Ironically my dad’s favorite movie… sometimes I wonder what life would be like if 11 years ago he was offered a second chance … I try to watch every year to remind myself that it’s a wonderful life and what it is worth… even in my saddest most heartbroken moments…

11 years gone but never forgotten… feeling so blessed with incredible friends and family who always check in on me this time of year and remind me of that regardless of what’s going on in my life there is so much good to celebrate and remember
