Preparing an amendment for FY20 supplemental budget to ensure all MO school districts continue receiving state funding should they decide to close in order to slow the spread and flatten the curve of #COVID19. It will be offered Wednesday, when the full House convenes. #moleg

State assessments should be cancelled for all schools immediately. We are now comparing apples to oranges when students are missing 3,4,5 weeks of school, maybe more. Remove that stress now! Put that in your bill and pass it! They will be even more useless than usual.

Been homeschooling a 6-year old and 8-year old for one hour and 11 minutes. Teachers deserve to make a billion dollars a year. Or a week.

This pandemic has already revealed that: - schools are so much more than just schools. - many people now realize how tough it is to be a teacher and that teachers are grossly underpaid. - teachers are irreplaceable and essential to learning and education. #homeschooling

Donita has a ❤️ of gold. I have had the pleasure of working with her and have seen the love she gives to “her kids”. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff in the SJSD for all you do everyday, but especially during the uncertain days ahead.

Every teacher played school when they were kids. We used chalk or marker boards-there wasn’t even a thought of an internet. Will this generation play school with shut downs and remote learning? I guarantee you we’ll teach and mentor kids through this. Lets change the world. #msta

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Ps. 27:13 Take heart tonight, sweet friend. And where you’re struggling to believe, know that it’s okay for you to ask God to give you relief from your unbelief.
