I’ve said it before and l’ll say it again, neglect is a form of trainee abuse. If you don’t have the bandwidth to effectively mentor, don’t take trainees. And if you see neglect, don’t say it’s due to busy PIs or big labs - that’s excusing bad behavior & discounting the trainee
