1/ Today we, like many others, saw this image circulating on Social Media and decided we really wanted to take a moment to talk about it.

2/We’re aware that it is from a year-old campaign, run by an external Ad Agency for the UK Government, but regardless of the timing, it still belittles our hard working colleagues in the industry and, in particular, those just starting out on their journey.

3/The Arts encompasses so much more than just Theatres and Galleries and it plays a pivotal role in our everyday life, across all sectors and we believe that the Government’s message is wrong. The Arts are viable.

4/People across the UK continue to look to us as their way of taking a break from the world around them. So, if you are a young technician, creative or performer, or know someone who is, our message to you is: Don’t give up.

5/We know how tough it is to start off on your journey into this industry and for this reason we are today launching our project, aimed at providing hands on technical theatre training for 13 - 18 year olds, called 1st Cue.

525,600 minutes later and our incredible journey continues. We have met some amazing collaborators and been involved in some incredible projects. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us and all of you who have involved us in your productions.
