Tonight was our first meeting of 2018 and saw us practising lighting fires from sparks...and toasting #marshmallows over the fire...it would have been rude not too 😉

As we aren't meeting next week, we decided to celebrate #PancakeDay a week early. The scouts made their own batter and cooked on a variety of camping stoves. Surprise favourite topping was #Spam..."Is it like steak?" Ahhhh the innocence of youth!

Tonight we have been Bowley Campsite playing #NERF with Wood-Sage Outdoor ...followed by cooking (or burning!) Bannock over the campfire in the tipi.

A frosty, misting start to the day Waddow Hall Activity Centre, but the Sun is shining through now. Breakfast has been eaten now it's time for tree climbing.
