On #WorldPharmacistsDay, we are celebrating the huge contribution that pharmacists make to helping improve people’s health and well-being. This year we want to particularly recognise their massive contribution during the pandemic.

Our first Rheumatoid Arthritis Champion certificates have gone out to pharmacies today. Well done all! Excited to be working with Clare Jacklin NRAS on this project.

More resources and ‘Rheumatoid Arthritis Champion’ certificates going out to Shropshire LPC and NStaffs&StokeLPC HLP Staffs/Stoke pharmacies. Looking forward to seeing their displays and hearing about how they have supported patients living with RA.

We are working with Community Pharmacy Dudley on this service. Currently training and supporting roll out across the borough.

Over 1,000 tests booked so far in the first week! Central Health have sub-contracted half of Dudley contractors to deliver this service on behalf of Dudley Council, and will add more after Christmas.

We will be rolling out this service in Birmingham early in the new year too.

Community pharmacies in Dudley have provided over 5,000 Covid-19 Lateral Flow Tests in 4 weeks. Central Health are now rolling out the service across Birmingham, Telford and Worcestershire. Identifying asymptomatic people and preventing further spread of the virus.
