As I started researching accordingly and started talking to my friends about the topic, I realized that people have been getting more and more used to take away APP lately such as deliveroo, and I even have a friend who has been taking out every meal for 4 days in a row.

With the lock down in Belfast, friends of mine have reported that the cost of delivery from Chinese restaurants has gone up in varying degrees and delivery times have become longer. Yet the frequency with which people order takeaways is still increasing!

I used to work at Starbucks in Beijing, and when the epidemic first hit, the number of Starbucks customers went straight down to less than 30%.But now, Starbucks still has a normal number of customers. Both the cafe and the guests have become familiar with this state of affairs.

For this assignment, I interviewed the owners of three restaurants last week, one in Belfast, one in London, and one in Glasgow, all of which are my friend's favorite restaurants. They all gave me positive responses, so good luck to them! (guiyin)
