WCC represented at the Bluegrass State Games!

All good things must come to an end. We had a heck of a #PGAJrLg this summer. The kids learned so much & each of them improved. It was fun to watch. Even the heat couldn’t keep most away today for the finale. Thanks to all the parents for getting the kids to the golf course.

The Fonz was a nail bitter. The team of Amburgey/B.Thomas (37) squeaked out a victory over Shields/Planck (36) by a single point in the stableford scoring event today Winchester Country Club Winchester Country Club The Graham bros finished third with 33 points. Allan Henry & Todd Howard finished 4th with 32.

Michael Epps LCA Athletics Kentucky Men’s Golf Jansen Preston He is coming off a win Winchester Country Club Memorial tournament where he shot 7 under, 65 (9 birdies) to win the 88th edition of the prestigious event.

Dr. Billy Ballard & Nelson Maynard are the 2024 WCC Member-Member Champions. They survived a 2 hole playoff against Chandler McCoy & Logan McCormick and Morgan Planck & Jack Holley. The three teams fired a net 63 to tie at the top. Planck won a WCC Bluetooth Tumbler for CTP on 11

It was a great day. With over 100 golfers, the annual GRC Boys' Basketball Golf Scramble was a huge success. Thank you to all the players, sponsors, parents and boosters.
