August is National Road Victim Month, every day 5 people lose their lives and 80 are seriously injured on our nation’s roads. A privilege to represent West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou and play a part in RoadPeace Ceremony of Remembrance at National Memorial Arboretum earlier today.
Thank you so much for joining us yesterday Simon Foster. Not only for the service, but for spending so much time talking with families after. It was heartwarming to see.
Delighted to represent West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou at ‘When Lives Collide’, a wonderful photographic exhibition of the work of Prof Paul Wenham-Clarke capturing the stories of lives lost on Britain’s roads and of those left behind in recognition of the 30th anniversary of RoadPeace. 💜
Our RoadPeace West Mids Group welcomed Simon Foster, John Cotton, Adam Aston 🌹🚑, West Mids Ambulance Service, West Mids Fire Service& Birmingham Children's Trust to the 'When Lives Collide' exhibition today which features photos that show the pain of losing a loved one in a road crash.
A big thank you to Richard Parker, #WestMidlands #Mayor, for taking the time to meet with our RoadPeace West Mids Group this week. It was a constructive session with meaningful discussions on the criminal justice system & the urgent need for safer roads in the region
Represented RoadPeace at the FLC Conference today. Spoke on why families bereaved through road death should be asked for feedback on their FLO experience. Brilliant presentations from Deborah Sleightholme, Linda Magistris and Joanne Early CEO SAMM National too. Privilege to meet these amazing ladies.
Lucy Harrison great to see you again yesterday. Your presentation was very powerful!
Beyond proud of my beautiful friend Abbie Brooks who I have been truly privileged to watch grow through her grief. Thank you West Mercia PCC for enabling us at RoadPeace to provide such vital support to crash victims in West Mercia. youtube.com/watch?v=-7wx4k…
