2019 starts well for 1254 with cadets at RAF Kenley on the PPT gliding trainer. First part of a cadet getting their "Blue Wings " badge.

Another busy weekend for 1254. Today we took 4 cadets to 622VGS for gliding, unfortunatly no one told the weather, so we were rained off. Thanks to the staff at 622VGS, they delivered ground training so we now have 4 cadets with Bronze level PTT training and 1 with Bronze wings

Tonight corporal Price recently completed his Bronze Wings Aviation Training Package and was awarded his certificate tonight. Well done!

We have been expanding our team of Civilian Instructors at the Squadron, we thought you would like to meet them: L-R CI Fahy, CI Brewer, CI Brownsword who is with us for a few months from 229 Sqn, and CI Barrett. 😃👍

This weekend 2 of oyr cadets have taken a step into the unknown. They have taken part in tbe L&SER qualifing march for Nijmegen 2019, and have both conquered 50 miles of road marching. Well done to Cadets Broster and Wild. We are all very proud of you. Well done
