Grateful to State Department for Children Services for a productive meeting exploring emerging trends in human trafficking. IOM is committed to strengthening collaboration with Counter Trafficking in Persons Secretariat under the leadership of Carren Agengo to build capacity + raise awareness among stakeholders to #EndTrafficking.


IOM & World Vision Kenya kicked off a #CashForWork drive in six villages of Lafey sub-county. Through inclusive community consultations, beneficiaries were selected to receive livelihood support to build their #resilience. Thank you #KOICA. #ELEVATE






This week, Kenya government stakeholders advanced the development of BCOCC Regulations. With support from Global Affairs Canada, IOM, BCOCC & Border Management Secretariat (BMS)., Kenya is enhancing coordinated border management under the Strengthening Integrated Responses to Border Security Project.


A two-week effort by IOM and Kenya Coast Guard Service, backed by US Dept of State INL, successfully concluded with 4 community engagement forums along #LakeVictoria. Together, we’re building trust promoting community-led surveillance against transnational threats.


In response to the displacement of populations in Mandera County due to unrest in the bordering areas of Somalia, IOM Kenya, Kenya Red Cross & EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 have flagged off emergency shelter & NFIs to support affected communities. #EuropeanUnion #ECHO #IOM #KRCS #Mandera
