This year’s Arctic Angel Rendezvous Week at JBER and Fort Wainwright honors the legacy of our division, and celebrates our #ArcticAngels, and the families and communities that support us.

Legacy is built on the foundation of our predecessors. From World War II, to Vietnam, and now conquering the Arctic, the 11th Airborne Division has always stood as an example of innovation, and success in the face of the impossible.

Every paratrooper needs two things to do the job. The will to fight the body’s instinct to survive, and an aircraft to jump from. Both are on display at this year’s Arctic Thunder Open House at JBER.

Repetition breeds perfection! Honing skills through rigorous training, 11th Airborne warriors strive for the ultimate mark of excellence: the Expert Infantryman, Expert Soldier or Expert Field Medical Badge - the pinnacle of warfighting expertise.

After two weeks of intense training, a week of rigorous testing, and a final 12-mile ruck march, 357 #ArcticAngels have earned the right to be called expert.

Success in the Indo-Pacific requires deploying ready, lethal forces who can survive, fight and win anywhere.  The soldiers of TF Geronimo landed on remote Shemya Island last week with long range fires and radar capabilities. Ready to fight and win. Anywhere.  #ArcticAngels

The #ArcticAngels are in India and have been pushing their limits alongside the ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY during Yudh Abhyas '24. With air assault operations, precision mortar fire and live fire exercises, every soldier there is developing their warfighting skills.
