Meet the Volunteers 👏 Sgt Joe Clark joined 1188 Sqn (Coalville) RAFAC in 2008. From there, he rose through to the rank of CWO taking part in a wide range of activities as a cadet. #VolunteersWeek2019 #VolunteersWeek #NationalVolunteersWeek2019 #NationalVolunteersWeek

He returned to 1188 Sqn (Coalville) RAFAC (Coalville) Squadron as a CI from 2015. During his time as a CI, he attended camps at Gibraltar and @RAFStnHenlow, and took on the role of IT Officer. He returned to uniform as Sergeant in November 2016 and then transferred to 1279 (Melton Mowbray) Squadron Air Cadets in September 2018

At the squadron, he fulfils the role of Squadron Training Officer & also the QM for the Wing Cadet Development Team. Sgt Clark particularly enjoys volunteering, supporting cadets & takes a lot of satisfaction in knowing that what he does here helps to shape young people's lives.
