$Gold may have made a daily cycle low on Thursday. That will be confirmed if it closes above the 10 DMA. The problem is that it broke below the June low which means that the IT downtrend is likely to continue into October. Only a rally back above 1987 would invalidate that.

Short covering in & of itself does not lead to sustainable, long term bull moves. No one is allocating serious money to #gold up 150 in 9 days with no pullback. Almost every time people get emotional & think "This is it!" It ends up REALLY being "that was it."
