Ryukishi07 answered about Ciconia: he's also thinking a lot about writing it, but Ciconia is a war-themed story, and while he doesn't intend to approach the theme lightly, with everything happening in the world it doesn't feel appropriate to write it as "entertainment". (1/2)

He was even thinking maybe he should write another "Naku Koro Ni" for now instead. But he already knows what he wants to write for Ciconia, and he doesn't intend to give up those plans, so he's hoping Ciconia can return in some form in the future (2/2).
