• Study hard. • What others think of you is none of your business. • It's OK not to have all the answers. • Experiment, Fail, Learn and Repeat. • Knowledge comes from experience. • Imagination is important. • Do what interests you the most. • Stay curious

The measure of your intelligence is not your ability to acquire knowledge but how you handle uncertainty and navigate through it and behave when you don't know what to do.

Being a neurosurgeon resident also means signing up for big responsibilities that may not excite you, like received a call back to the hospital at 12am to do emergent EVD. #MedTwitter #Neurosurgery #Residency #BrainHealth

Late OR days continues. Junior resident life is happily painful (or maybe painfully happy) Anyways, a lot better than being an intern :) For those neurosurgery interns who are struggling, there is a light at the end! #MedTwitter #Neurosurgery #Residency #Surgery #BrainHealth

Don't get frightened by not knowing things. I have approximate answers, and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything. There are many things I don't know anything about. It doesn't frighten me.

I give random radiographic shapes I encounter everyday some sorts of symbolic meanings. Here, this coiled aneurysm looks like a happy dancer. It’s got some cool coils and it’s secured. Maybe that’s why it looks so happy. #neurosurgery #MedTwitter #residency #medicine #artistic

Keep in mind 🧠 1. Failure is when you don't try. 2. Don't try to please everyone and don't care about what others think. 3. Opinions don't change the reality. 4. Learn daily. 5. You are in charge of your own happiness.
