My daughter is 23 & chronically unwell. Yes, you CAN be too ill/disabled to work at a young age. The question she's always hated is "So what do you do, are you in uni, work?" She always looked to me, anxious, sad. Now she tells them "I'm surviving, that's all I can do right now!

My (very naughty) cat dropped a squirrel at my feet today. Injured, but alive. I wasn't aware it is illegal to 1. Take it into your home to tend to any injuries. 2. Release it back into the wild! 😳 Had to take it to the vet to be euthanized. My daughter was distraught

I'm so fed up of feeling unwell. My immune system is in shreds. I could really do with a month away from everything, close to the sea. Of course, being an #unpaidCarer makes that impossible. Just have to keep pushing through.

There is so much hate towards disabled people on here. It's relentless! I'm just glad my daughter doesn't do social media to read it. Her self-esteem & self-worth are already rock bottom. She feels like a failure and a burden. She is not! But that's how she feels.
