Bird #artist Henry Constantine Richter was born #otd in 1821. He worked on many of the #lithographs in the works of John Gould. Illustration from Gould's "Birds of Great Britain", Vol 3, publ. 1873.

#Artist John Gerrard Keulemans was born #OTD in 1842. These are examples of original #artworks in our collections. He worked on many of the illustrations in our scientific publication "Proceedings of the Zoological Society" now continued as "Journal of Zoology".
