I’ve been lucky to be published alongside some incredible writers in this wonderful journal, and can’t imagine our literary landscape without it. Please pitch in if you can, details below 👇 💕

I'm pretty sure the first piece I ever published was in takahe. I was 19 and bought some cheap boots. Felt so special wearing them!! takahē has been in continuous publication since 1989 and some of Aotearoa's brightest creative stars first had work published in our pages

I was so honoured to be published in Takahē a little while ago. Learning they lost CNZ funding was a shock, as it means they can’t keep going without our help. Consider donating to help give artists and writers a valuable creative outlet & the community a journal we love ❤️

This is such a thoughtfully curated, beautifully produced publication and right now it needs our assistance to continue ❤️

Can anyone help with this writing question please Are there any established Māori artists living and working in London? It feels like most are living and working at home in Aotearoa?

I’m absolutely floating to be a runner-up in the Seán Ó Faoláin, and Camilla Grudova having read my story is like first prize in itself! ✨
