Food waste in cities can seem like an intractable challenge at times. WasteAid is running a pilot programme in The Gambia, collecting #foodwaste from local markets and training women farmers to make #compost, creating a #closedloop #circulareconomy for #futureharvests! ♻️🌻

Douala's waterways are choked with plastic waste. By working with community leaders we are sowing the seeds for long-lasting improvements, with plastic collection points, dignified jobs and cross-sector collaborations for sustainable waste mgt. Well done WasteAid Lucien Yoppa!
