gemini notetaker on google meets is really good. it provides in depth but concise notes and has a full transcript as well. it's a google docs link that is provided after the meeting. it was especially helpful to cut through accents + entities i did not recognize. gg.

So MLE is just waiting on downloads, sorting data, cleaning data, scraping data, generating data, sorting data, evaluating data, and then waiting on the training checkpoints?!? It’s so boring and very slow. There’s also nothing experimental or interesting at production level,

i learned yesterday that you can write a cli tool in javascript??? i'm not sure why but that kinda broke my mind a little bit. it feels so wrong. i've built like 2-3 medium to big cli projects and they were in python and rust.

when i first got to SF i got the impression that no one here cared about status and that was great! now i’ve been here long enough to realize this city is, if anything, MORE status-motivated than anywhere on Earth. ppl are just playing different status games than elsewhere.
